Airline Security, Continued

So, it seems like we can't have nice things in the air. Check it out--folks are worried that Wi-Fi (supposedly coming soon to an airplane carrying you) could be used by terrorists, and as such, should be banned. In other developments, the TSA is working on a new policy banning clothes on domestic flights. Turns out, that dress shirt of yours makes an excellent garrote. Gosh, those terrorists are so, so....creative! As an added benefit, the TSA has found it's easier to conduct body cavity searches if the passengers are already naked, so this policy has multiple benefits. In reality, bombs carried by passengers are pretty rare and not that easy to pull off. Hijacking a plane with a weapon? Give me a break. Any terrorist with a even a smattering of brain cells knows that hijacking planes in American air space is no longer a useable method, since the passengers now assume any hijacking will end in their death and will attack the perp no matter what weapon they choose to smuggle on board. If we really want to curtain plane terror, let's simply stop flying planes. Or, recognize what the terrorists are trying (rather successfully) to do--make us spend gobs of money on these security protocols that have NEVER CAUGHT A SINGLE TERRORIST to date--and stop playing this stupid game altogether. I'm not saying we need to toss airport screening, but let's try to be cost-effective since it's not like we're really saving many lives here if any at all.
