Think Steve won last year, if I remember correctly. No trophy for this league yet, even though we've been playing it now for about six years. Maybe I'll have to fix that this year.

I won two years ago, before someone "fixed" the drafting process so I couldn't get the same players year after year.

BTW, we should set the draft order up based on finishing order from the previous season - last place team gets first pick, etc.

draft order? you guys are kidding me. No one ever bothers to participate live, so why even care about draft order?

Btw, draft order works like this--you're randomly assigned 1-n, and then the second round goes n back down to 1. Order isn't such a big deal, compared to drafting smart.

If you guys are interested in a keeper-style league (where perhaps we keep 1-2 players from the previous year), let me know.

Don't count me in for a live draft, I've been super busy between work, Parsla, and SCCA. Oh, and I just brought my new car home tonight. The Sprite is officially mine now. Teehee!

Current roster: Geoff, Marc, Steve, GJ, Abby, and it looks like Darcy will fill in as #6 if I don't hear a positive from either Dad (unlikely) or Eric (also fairly unlikely). Live draft will likely been next weekend, unless someone tells me they'd prefer to do it on a weeknight. I'll set up the league this weekend, and send invites to the emails you have registered with the blog. I will also publish the scoring guidelines, so you know what to look at in the various fantasy rags / cheatsheets out there.

If you have any requests / recommendations for changes in scoring or lineups, let me know.

Folks, draft day is set for THIS SATURDAY at 11am EDT. You must be registered no later than 10am EDT. If you won't participate in the live draft, you must have your player rankings done by 10:15am EDT, else Yahoo's default order will be used.

So far, I have seen on Geoff, Marc, Darcy, Abby and myself. Steve and Dad--you still playing? We could use one more, too....any takers?

You'll be happy to know I used my own randomizer to pick the draft order, instead of leaving it up to Yahoo's randomizer. Sorry, Geoff, you lose again this year. ;) Draft order is snake-based--so while Geoff gets last pick in the first round, he gets first pick in the second round.

Then don't bother buying StatTracker--that app was still IE-only as of last year, and since the draft was IE-only again this year, StatTracker will be too. Which is a shame, as StatTracker is pretty cool to watch during the games.
