Finally, I'm back on the net. That's one thing Europe sucks at - they charge to use the internet at every hotel, well, everywhere period, and it's freaking expensive! 2 euros for 15 minutes, 8 euros for 1 hour, something like 30 euros for a day! Keep in mind, 1 euro = $1.30! So, I did get online to make hotel reservations, which took every bit of a 15 minute connection, leaving no time for keeping up with email. Which I guess was good, as it meant I didn't waste time with email in place of actually enjoying the place I was!

I read the first book. It was okay, good enough for me to attempt the second. Unfortunately the second sucked so bad in the first 2 chapters that I never got any further. Oh well. Speaking of quality entertainment, I did just go see the simpson's movie, which was pretty amusing.

I'll have to go back to read the first two chapters of book 2. I don't recall what they were, but likely it was just Harry finishing his summer at the Dursley's, who basically hated his guts. They usually followed the pattern of Harry getting fed up with them, and doing something to them "accidentally," or in later books, he gets some unwanted assistance from a certain house-elf in doing so. Pretty funny.

Thanks Guys! I really appreciate everyone's effort yesterday and the weeks beforehand to make this day possible. It was a very special day for the both of us and we couldn't have asked for a better wedding. Thanks again for standing by my side and I hope you all had as much fun as we did. I hope everyone has a safe trip and I look forward to seeing most of you (maybe all?) on Thanksgiving.

That is arrived on time has more to do with luck than anything else. I bought the card a week early, and then kept forgetting to mail it. Good to see it arrived on time, though.

Re: your hockey stint. Cool! What will your duties look like as liason? Btw, it was Geoff's team, not Marc's that combined Ludden with Solvay. :)

Re: glasses. You don't need to wear them all the time...yet. If your eyes go like mine, unless you like sitting two feet from the TV, you may be wearing them full time before you know it. I can't believe how bad mine have gotten in just three years. Still, I don't need them for reading a book...but trying to read anything small more than a couple of feet away has become all but impossible. Did you have astigmatism in addition to nearsightedness too? That was my double-whammy, which really pushed me into full-time glasses.

Depending on which model you buy, they can store a fair amount of pics. I'm assuming they can do a typical slide show presentation of those pictures, too. As for engraving--it's possible, depending on how much the model looks like a regular picture frame. How often are regular picture frames engraved? It sounds kind of funny to me, but maybe that's because I've never seen one engraved before. I'm kind of lukewarm on this idea--they kind of use their computer for this purpose today.

Wine cooler--not a bad idea, save for the fact that I don't think they have room for it. It's the kind of thing they'd have to put in the basement, I'm guessing--the garage won't work, due to the wide range of temperature variation. Don't think they have the room in the interior of the house.

Most of the digital frames I've seen aren't too friendly to engraving, but I wouldn't be surprised if there were some out there. Now if there was something you wanted on the frame but couldn't engrave it, one of us artsy-fartsy types might be able to paint something on it??? All-in-all, I think it's a great idea. I know they use their computer for this now, but it might be nice to have something in the living room or their bedroom as well.

They certainly don't need much for the house, so maybe ideas of getaways would be the way to go.

Hot tub for the deck? I've never heard them mention wanting one, but I'm pretty hard of hearing anyway.

Mom really likes theater shows, and Dad really likes Civil war stuff. Any thoughts about getting Mom tickets to something she might really like to see, or season tickets to the Syracuse Stage for 2009? Civil war related, I think Dad might enjoy going to see a reenactment. Do you guys think he'd like that? I'm not talking a little one, I'd suggest sending them to see the biggest most realistic reenactment there is. I'd have to research it, but I thought there was a HUGE one down in Gettysburg every year.

How about first year's payments on a Camaro? Actually, yesterday I saw a fully camoflouged Camaro Convertible out testing, so maybe they want to wait for that. I sure would. Convertibles are awesome. And I know Mom has been wanting one too.

You betcha...I got some great camera footage! I will try and post tomorrow sometime as I think there is wireless Internet at the hospital. I had to run home to let the dogs out! In other news, Michelle has also been seeing a therapist and will soon be getting on medication (finally) for anxiety and possibly depression. We need to see another specialist for that diagnosis. Anyway, she is doing well and the baby, according to the doctor, was the happiest baby she's seen all day. Apparently her vital signs indicated she was break dancing in the womb...she must have acquired a few of my genes I guess!
