Ever want to relive the terrifying drop in the Tower of Terror. Well some guys recreated the entire ride in Half-Life 2.

Geoff did the same thing, only it was way back on Duke Nukem 3D, so he was a bit limited on graphics.

Yeah man....that was like back in 8th grade! I wasn't able to put all the great things these guys did, however, I did build out most of the hotel so it was a very playable map. I had a pool, a giant fish tank, bedrooms, the whole bit! I think it was the only map I ever built that maxed out the number of sprites (objects for you non-techies) AND wall intersections. A pretty big feat in and of itself.

This was super cool though, they did a fantastic job rendering not only the atmosphere, but the whole ride itself!

I thought it was pretty good, up until the actual dropping. Kind of hard to replicate that without g-forces.

I agree GJ, I thought that they could have done a better job showing what you see when those doors open--not a bunch of concrete! It was great up to that point.
