This is a pretty cool video, although it tends to more describe fractals than infinite series. Of which, I just found out an employee of IBM was the first guy to come up with the term "fractal." Not the idea of course, we just try to take credit for that by association. :)

Fractals are tightly related to infinite series, and serves as a great visual explanation of the concept. So, Mandelbrot worked for IBM in 1975?

I thought I was going to fry my brain halfway through it but I like the tie in at the end. This is probably one of the more cooler math videos I've ever seen.

Yea, Mandelbrot was there from like 1955-1990 if I recall correctly. Worked in the research center where you see things like Deep Blue and Watson come out of (a.k.a. The cool part of IBM).

At least your company has a cool part, Marc. There is nothing the least bit cool or sexy about Experian. :)
And Geoff, if this fries your brain, I'll spare you the discussion on why the Japanese nuclear power crisis is 75% media and 25% real problem. I figured, this being graphical and not the least bit based on numbers, it'd sink right in! :)
