Saw this a few weeks back at Bad Astronomy. He didn't mention the discrepancy of the module attachments at the time--I'll have to check if one of his astute readers caught it!

I think I saw this on Yahoo a while back, or something similar, definitely cool. I'd be interested to know how much of that was planned out in advance vs. adapted over the 10 years.

And we just got word yesterday that our planned Florida vacation is postponed. One of the units for the space station is not going to be ready in time for the July launch, so that one is pushed back until November. They can only typically launch one shuttle every other month, and there is already one planned for September, hence the 4 month delay for the July launch. We might just go to the September launch instead.

These TED speeches are always interesting, and for some reason there's lately been a theme of the speakers declaring themselves magicians. David Blaine actually gave one about how he held is breath under water for 17 min, that one was pretty cool too.
