Parsla and I are coming home too. I'm hoping to make it back Thursday night, staying until Monday.

Won't be back. This Michigander will be in northern MI camping and tubing with the wife and kids. Tent camping by the way. No wimpy campers or cabins. In the woods, no electricity, no running water (but the river.) No worries.
Geoff, you have a safe trip, though. I know it's a long one for ya.

LOL!
We're still not sure what our plans are, as things have been very busy of late--that, and we've done so much traveling (non-vacation travel, mind you) that Lexie has more frequent stayer miles at the kennel than I do with either Marriott or Hilton.
Update--no dice. Funds just aren't there for the trip at the moment, between saving up for the wedding in October, putting a new roof on the house, and the very ill-timed furlough my firm is putting in to play this fall.

I'm guessing we should be able to make the long haul Friday evening. I'll have some prepping to do of course, but I'm thinking if I make good time, I could probably complete the journey in about an hour and 15 minutes...maybe a hair sooner if I avoid the 104 traffic light gauntlet. Signing off, I'll need my rest for this one. Enjoy the camping and avoid the bears.

I'll be stuck in NC all weekend. End of release for our product and I get to spend Labor Day...you guessed it...working. :)
Back in 1974 (it's first commercial release), it was indeed the only thing out there. Having gone to Catholic school, I didn't use a computer at school until college, but I did play this on a public library computer back in the day.
