Qualification Round is wrapping up. The Americans need to beat the Swiss today if they plan to keep playing, but even if they do, they won't make it far in the single elimination bracket. There are a lot of good teams out there this year, and the USA isn't one of them. :(

Oh, let me correct something. The USA makes it to the next round unless the Swiss beat them by eight goals. I don't think that's going to happen, but it is likely that the USA will draw a tough opponent in the very first round. Pretty much, they will get Canada, the Czechs, or Finland in the first round. I don't see them likely beating any one of them.
