This nonsense must stop

Quick lesson on school textbooks--many of them are sourced from Texas. Know why? It's a big, populous state. What's good for the goose is good for the gander, or some such logic, gives rise to the fact that textbooks that are approved for use in Texas often find their way into almost every other state's curricula due ease of review. Guess where the fundamentalist creationists (hereafter maliciously referred to as "creobots") are mounting their latest attack on the teaching of evolution? Texas? You'd be right--they are attempting to head off the teaching of evolution across the country at the proverbial pass. Check out this article in the NY Times for background. Grrrr...this just makes my blood boil--and I hope it makes yours boil, too. Teaching stupidity to our kids instead of scientific fact is no way to ensure our kids can complete on a global platform with their peers in Europe and Asia. And, make no mistake about it, this is a form of mind control that the creobots wish to implement here, to help bolster their ranks. I expect this from Scientologists--and who do you think the Scientologists looked to for their inspiration? Yup, the creobots. Ok, back to your regularly scheduled blogram of videos and other fun / interesting stuff. Oh, wait, this post needs a picture.
