Who knows the easiest (think iTunes for dummies) way to convert a song in my iTunes library into an MP3 file?

Trying to upload a song to a website, and they only accept MP3's. Tried looking in my C drive where I seem to have some songs saved as MP3's, but mysteriously not all of them. Strange.

In iTunes, open up the Preferences (Edit -> Preferences on Windows, and iTunes -> Preferences on Mac). Select the "General" category and click on the "Import Settings..." button. Change Import Using to MP3 Encoder, and then for Settings choose at least 192kbps, or if you want the highest quality, select Custom and choose 320kbps. Leave all the other settings as default. Then click OK to close the preferences. Now in your playlist on itunes, find the song or songs and select it/them. Right click (on the Mac hold down Ctrl and click) and select "Create MP3 version." This will create a second version in iTunes that is now MP3.

To get that song in a more obvious place, simply drag it from your iTunes playlist and drop it on your Desktop. You can now delete it from iTunes if you'd like so you won't have two copies. Let me know if you've got any questions.

Oh, I seriously considered asking my guests to rsvp online only--but then I thought twice. But I bet that will be all the rage in less than 10 years. You can upload your whole guest list and keep track of everything, even thank you's! And you can do a virtual seating plan. It's pretty freaking sweet.

Well, you still have to write the thank you's--and not in email format, that I agree is cheesy. But you can keep track of who you thanked!
