The "Danger! Danger!" voice

So, I've got a bit o' problem with the new machine. Specifically, my login only--this doesn't happen with anyone else's login. Every so often, but often while using another app that plays sounds, I'll hear this annoying voice track saying "Danger! Danger!", often 3-5 times before stopping again. Of course, I figured I got nailed with some kind of virus or spyware, so I ran the gamut of checks. Nothing found. I then removed Flash, figuring whatever was running was using flash to play the sound. Nope, still happening. What's really funny--it showed up after I installed Steam, and occurs the most when I play Steam. This is freaking weird, if you ask me. Anybody run across this before? I'm about to remove Steam and see if it goes away.
