That's freaking awesome!! The perfect gesture. He's not threatening, not banging on the glass or anything. This is much more effective, and humiliating to the goal judge. Awesome....

That is cool. I hope that goal didn't cost them the game....funny it was Rochester vs Syracuse

Replays are indeed not available at AHL games--at least, not to the referees. That's why they use goal judges. I'm not sure if they still use goal judges in the nhl, other than as someone to man the red light (in other words, the refs don't consult them any more).

"I was changing my oil (Wednesday night) and the guy from the (car) dealership told me he saw it and couldn't believe how funny it was. The players, friends of players, many people have come to me and told me. I didn't really think that it would be funny. It just came out. I don't know where it came from. Maybe I should be a funny guy every day. I didn't swear or anything, I tried to be nice and asked if he'd please come see the mark on the cross bar. He never said why he threw me out and he never told Randy either."

He got kicked out for that? Are you kidding me? Guys can bash each others teeth in, but wiping the glass clean gets you kicked out? What is the world coming to?
Ok, there's a BS question. What model was BMWs first big hit in the US? I had it between the 2002 and the 325. Well, they made about a billion 325s in the 80s, compared to only a tens of thousands of 2002s, so I picked the sensible choice. Wrong. That's way too subjective.
I'm going to do horrible, I don't know much about cars that were built with carberuetors.

60%. Blah

I got a 57%. A lot of my answers were guesses. I really only knew for sure about 10 of the answers. I got the Wayne's World one, though. I'm very proud of myself.
GJ said about 13 hours later
Damn, I got the Wayne's World one wrong (picked the Gremlin). I'll be honest--I guessed on about 33% of the answers. Got about 2/3 of them right...but then again, I got a few wrong that I was pretty sure about (like Steve's BMW question, I also picked the 325).
Geoff said about 24 hours later
37% for me...I should have went with my first gut guesses, but I never do. That is way out of my era though. I was confident on the Back to the Future question and a few other real obvious ones (few and most near the end).
I missed the Wayne's World one...Ford Pinto for me!

If you think that's exciting, you guys led way too sheltered of a life.
The gas tank going up was pretty cool, I have to admit, but what they were doing was pretty lame.
We built a track in the back yard of one of our rental houses. It was about a mile long. We took anything with 4 wheels and a motor through that track, it was a blast. The record time was set by my buddy Brian in his 2WD four cylinder Ford Ranger. I don't know how many cars we broke back there, or how many cars we broke, fixed, and broke again back there. And that was all legal. As for the illegal stuff we did, well, no comment....

exciting? naw. more fun watching the inevitable...kinda like a slow train wreck, even if nobody got hurt in the end other than the oldsmobile.

Hey, what kind of blog is this? I want to try adding videos like you Did GJ, but through YouTube you have to define the blogger service. Is it still just Blogger?
GJ said about 8 hours later
on you tube, get the embed link and post that, instead of the linky.
GJ said about 8 hours later
you don't need to tell you tube nothing, either. Watch, I'll go find some other lame video to post.

Don't worry, I have a plan to allow you to easily add in the YouTube player. Expect this feature very soon.
